Yoga Retreat
and Ceremony:

The Embodiment of Spirit

Sat June 28 - Sat July 5, 2008

at the Blacktail Ranch, Wolf Creek, Montana

Price: $1695 (with indoor lodging)

We invite you to immerse yourself in a healing and transformational week of yoga and ceremony. Our work together will weave yoga, chanting, meditation, nutrition, writing and process work, council circle, vision quest, and sweat lodge ceremony. The Blacktail Ranch is a jewel of wild beauty along the Dearborn River at the base of the Continental Divide. The octagonal Hogan, built in the southwestern style on a hillside above the ranch, is a comfortable and spacious yoga room with sweeping views of the mountains. Between classes you can go horseback riding, river rafting, fishing, hiking, exploring thousands of acres of wilderness, bird watching, enjoy the hot tub and sauna or just relax on the front porch and breathe pure mountain air.

The Blacktail Ranch's archaeological sites include an extensive cave system that dates back to the Ice Age, a Medicine Wheel and Sun Wheel. During our workshops we will visit all of these places which hold the deep mysticism of the land. In this sacred, safe setting, you will be compassionately challenged to heal and grow physically and spiritually.

Accommodations: There are dormitory style rooms with shared baths and a few semi-private spaces available, please inquire. A double room with a private bath is an additional $300 per person. Campers will stay in tents and tipis in a meadow along the river and use the bathing facilities in the main lodge. Campers get a discount of $15/day.

Costs included: Cost for each program includes all instruction, basic lodging, meals and general use of the Ranch facilities. Horseback riding, body therapy and transportation between the Ranch and Great Falls are available at extra cost. They accept checks, money orders, and most major credit cards. Each day we meet for morning chanting, meditation, yin yoga and an asana intensive. Each afternoon we will gather to further open doors to your inner exploration with writing and process work, experiential exercises, and visioning. As the sun lowers in the sky we will transition into a nurturing restorative yoga practice. After dinner, we close the day with ceremony. At the end of the week you will have a day of fasting while calling vision and listening, and cleansing in the Sweat Lodge.

Ceremony: Whether you're a beginner or advanced yoga practitioner, Cheri and Heather welcome you (you don't have to "have it all together" to come!) We only ask that you arrive with a willingness to work honestly at your edges. This will be a chance to examine yourself deeply, to heal trauma (both physical and emotional) and to transform old, unworkable habits and patterns that limit your yoga and your life. Thus, clearing the way for you to more fully embody your spirit!
