We appreciate each and every donation, no matter the size of the contribution you choose to give. Many of you have memories and projects that you'd especially like to see thrive. We want to hear you and we want to hear what you'd like to see happen with your contribution. Please use this Form below to let us know.

Beginning as the Holistic Life Foundation in 1975 with a vision of a better future, the Feathered Pipe Foundation has consistently offered learning experiences which inspire people to discover their inner paths of growth leading, we hope, to personal and planetary transformation. We never know which of the thousands of people who come to us are going to go out and make a difference in the world. We don't know which of the people coming out of a sweat lodge will be changed and healed in such a way that they become effective agents of change. We never know whose experience will lead them to look to the future and join in with the cosmic design for them - but we know it happens.

Spreading knowledge about yoga is our primary activity and we are proud to have been instrumental in the careers of so many yoga teachers practicing today. We feel the best training in the country is available at the Feathered Pipe Ranch and should be there for everybody. We raise money for the Feathered Pipe Scholarship Fund in many ways: people give via a check-off on this fall funding appeal; fifty percent of the proceeds of our annual raffle go to the scholarship fund; and yoga instructors at the ranch donate their time to offer half-day workshops in Helena each summer. In addition, we occasionally host fundraising dinners at the homes of alumni around the country. Many of the recipients are yoga teachers so that any contribution here will spread to many more students in the yoga community.

Our other seva works include helping the Tibetan Children's Education Foundation. Karma Tensum, the Executive Director, is a life-long friend of India Supera.

When Karma was a 21-year old student living in poverty in India we had no idea that he would graduate from Harvard and dedicate his life to educating the children of Tibetans in exile. Now, with the help of the Feathered Pipe Foundation, the TCEF has established the Kyitsel-ling Tibetan Children's Education Center in Dehra Dun, India, has helped thousands of children. Please visit their website and see how you can sponsor a Tibetan child or elder. www.tibetanchildrenseducation.org

The Lewis and Clark County Health Department's AIDS Project (LCAP) is our co-sponsor for the HIV Positve Women's Retreat. It has grown from a weekend event offering HIV positive women a chance to meet and share experiences to a four-day retreat with formal programming on HIV treatment and transmission updates, nutrition, holistic and allopathic health maintenance, self-growth, and community building. Women who have attended have received the strength to accept their diagnoses with courage and grace, the knowledge and motivation to improve their health and prognosis, and the inspiration to become agents for change in their communities. Many have subsequently started support groups in their home towns. Several have become national advocates for HIV prevention and care services, and at least one has started a similar retreat and HIV positive women's network in a neighboring state. The women continue to network with each other by phone, e-mail, mail, and visits when possible; several of them serve each year on the planning committee for the following year's retreat. We want to raise $13,000 this year for the Men's and Women's retreats.
